The case of Novoseletskaya in Vyselki

Case History

Nataliya Novoseletskaya is another victim of religious persecution in the village of Vyselki, Krasnodar Territory. In March 2024, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against her on extremism for participating in peaceful worship services of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Nataliya signed a recognizance agreement, and her bank account was blocked.

The believer is suspected of "taking a direct part in religious teaching and sermons ... entered into conversations and religious discussions with other participants... read aloud to other participants the religious books of Jehovah's Witnesses, emphasizing that these books contain true knowledge about God."
